"Once I fixed my eyes on Him, everything changed."
Have you ever felt like your confidence just disappeared? One day you’re bold and focused, and the next, you’re second-guessing everything about who you are and where you’re going. The truth is, this usually happens when we shift our eyes away from God and begin tuning into all the wrong voices.
In our message Being Confident in Him, we took a close look at Psalm 16 and Psalm 27, and discovered something powerful: confidence isn’t found in self-help, comparison, or social status—it’s found in Christ alone.
“Once I fixed my eyes on Him, everything changed.”
When God is not at the center, our identity becomes foggy. We start absorbing the opinions of others—family, friends, social media—and before long, our confidence gets muddy. But here’s the good news: You are already confident. You just need to accept it—accept Him.
Our confidence doesn’t come from hype, hustle, or what the culture says. It comes from a relationship with Jesus—steady, unchanging, and rooted in truth. When we embrace what He’s already done for us and who He says we are, we can walk in the kind of boldness that doesn’t waver with the world’s opinions.
“Stop letting the world define you. Know who you are, and who He is in you.”
So if you’ve been feeling off, unsure, or lost in the noise of the world, maybe it’s time to recenter. Take a moment to refocus your eyes and heart on God. He’s not asking you to find confidence—He’s inviting you to receive it.
Scriptures to Reflect On:
